Richard Mullineaux has presided over this successful business for nearly 6 years and has more than 15 years experience working in the industry. This is a niche business, with a focus on building work that specializes in ground floor extensions and the installation of a new kitchen. This company has acquired an excellent reputation amongst their customers, especially in the South West London area.
This firm brings together design and construction, to deliver a high-quality finish to all clients and for the project to be well-managed throughout. Richard tells me that the first appointment is always held at customers' homes, so that he may view the space and importantly, to accept the brief. Using his expertise of this particular kind of development, Richard describes the finished products as 'a marriage of ideas'. Some customers have already done research into what kind kitchen they wish to achieve, which Richard says is a welcome input to the process, as it helps to have a clear vision, especially when working on projects that can last over 3 months until completion. The design team take into consideration the needs of the family, as well as their wish-lists, with particular consideration of the light and of course, the finished look.
Richard tells me that he thinks it is important for business credibility to have an office on Northcote Road; with this he is able to provide a solid base for his business which organises all aspects of the extension projects, not least the customer service and project management. Once in an office on Webbs Road, clearly SW11 is an area with which Richard is extremely familiar and he tells me he especially likes to work near the Grape shop and the cheese shop on Northcote Road. Richard suggests that the future holds an inevitable and regrettable shift to a more homogenised high street and thinks perhaps Webbs Road may be the place to nurture the smaller independent businesses, which will otherwise struggle with the rising rents.
