From a small village in Oxfordshire came the talented stylist Nigel Cloud,
now owner of the well-known salon on Northcote Road: Head South. With 22 years worth of experience behind him, specialising in hair colour in the West End, then working both in the USA and Canada, Nigel started running this popular Battersea hair and beauty salon 11 years ago. The customers' loyalty to this salon is testimony to the high quality service provided at Head South.
Deborah and Dee are the familiar and friendly reception team who welcome every client to the salon, make the bookings and ensure that everything runs smoothly in this busy business; made even more so by the recent addition of Emily, the new beauty therapist on the team. Emily came to Head South from the Cow-Shed and already her facials and hot waxing service come highly recommended. Nigel and Deborah tell me that the team aim to provide "a professional service, locally". This salon works hard to deserve its excellent reputation and its place in the Northcote Road community.
Customers to Head South include young professionals, parents and children too - the majority from the immediate local area and in turn, Head South has supported the local schools including Honeywell, Thomas' and Belleville, providing raffle prizes and space to promote local charity events. Nigel says he really enjoys the al fresco dining on Northcote Road during the summer months and likes the strong community spirit which centres around the Battersea street where he has his business.
