This Christmas Northcote Road was visited by some of Santa’s elves and two of his best behaved reindeer – Dancer and Prancer! There was also Peppa Pig who gave out balloons to all the children as well as pose for photos with families. The original sleigh that was used in the Harry Potter films made for a picture perfect moment for parents and their kids after a long day of last minute Christmas shopping.
Dancer and Prancer were two very lucky reindeer as visitors were able to feed them their favorite snack of lichens (mould!). In the evening, the very talented entertainer John Hegley arrived to switch on the Christmas lights along Northcote Road. He brought with him his ukulele and plenty of festive cheer, getting the crowd into the Christmas spirit. The team at Crumpet supplied mulled wine and freshly baked cakes and mince pies to all the children carollers who helped John with the entertainment and make it a very special festive evening.
